Lexington – Bette Wallace Congleton, 84, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. She was born in College Hill, Kentucky on December 3, 1940, to the late Marvin and Grace Turner Congleton. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Julia Carol Howell, her sister, Lorena Aines, and her brother, William Congleton.
She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Powers (Shaun); her grandchildren, Daniel Sloan, David Sloan (Meagan), Caleb Zitter (Cassie), Charlie Zitter, and Angela C. Sloan; her great grandchildren, Cayden Bradshaw, Caitlynn Bradshaw, Cooper Sloan, Gracie Sloan, Nicholas Sloan and Lincoln Zitter.
