Suzanne T Patrick

Suzanne Robinson Patrick, 82, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away on February 26, 2018. Sue was born on November 29, 1935 in Oyster Bay, New York. Her parents were Edward Robinson, Jr. and Helen Rahilly. Sue attended St. Dominic High School in Oyster Bay, and after graduation, she attended Ladycliff College in Highland Falls, New York. After graduation from Ladycliff, she entered the convent in the Order of Franciscan Brothers. She remained in the convent and taught high school math until 1971. During her years in New York City, she attended New York University and received her Masters degree from Manhattan University in New York. Sue later accepted a math teaching position in Boiceville, New York, where she met her husband, Rod Patrick, who was teaching and coaching in the Upstate School. In 1983, Sue and Rod moved to Greeley, Colorado where she taught for 12 years at Greeley Central High School and a few months at Greeley West High School. Sue loved teaching and working with students who wanted to achieve success in their chosen field. She loved music and played the piano from 6 years of age. She also loved golf and enjoyed her golfing friends. Sue is preceded in death by her parents and her step-son, Steven. Sue is survived by her husband, Rod; brother, Edward Robinson of Nashville, Tennessee; sister, Margaret Nelson of Loveland, Colorado; step-daughter, Cathy Duggan of Post Falls, Idaho; step-son, Michael Patrick of Parker, Colorado; three step-grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. She will be cremated in Greeley, Colorado and her ashes will be returned to the family cemetery in Mt. Tremper, New York. There will be no funeral service in Greeley.
