Gloria ""Glo"" Jean Brennan
November 16th, 1933 - March 4th, 2025
Gloria Jean "Glo" Brennan passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and service. Born in Buffalo, NY, on November 16, 1933, Gloria dedicated her life to caring for others, both personally and professionally. She pursued her passion for nursing at the Sisters of Charity Nursing School becoming a Registered Nurse and later earned her BSN from Carroll University. Gloria devoted many years of compassionate care to her patients at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, touching countless lives along the way. Faith and community were central to Gloria's life. She was an active member of St. John Neumann. She also volunteered at St. Anthony on the Lake School, and the MacCanon Brown Homeless Sanctuary, always finding ways to give back. Gloria’s warmth, sense of humor, and legendary one-liners made every gathering brighter—because, as many would say, "Everything was more fun with Gloria." Gloria loved animals and cherished her many pets. She also found joy in cooking, gardening, and, most of all, spending time with her beloved family and friends. She is survived by her children Mark (Michael) Ing, Clare (Jeff) Peiffer, Margaret (Jon) Behm, and Geri Brennan; grandchildren Emily (Alex) Wilke, Matt Peiffer, Angie Peiffer, Eric (Robyn) Behm, Ryan (Alli) Behm, Keegan Duffy, and Mairin Duffy; and great-grandchildren Charlie and Burke Wilke, and Theo and Owen Behm.Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, whom she now joins in eternal rest. Her family will honor her life with a service at St. John Neumann Catholic Church (2400 WI-59, Waukesha, WI 53189) on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until the start of mass at 12:00 p.m. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to MacCanon Brown Homeless Sanctuary. In Gloria's memory, let us all "leave room"—for love, for laughter, and for one more story to tell.
