Thomas "Tommy" Grigsby Livingston, Jr.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Thomas Grigsby Livingston, Jr., who left us on Monday, March 3, 2025, at the age of 66. A resident of Neeses, South Carolina, Tommy was cherished by family and friends alike.

Born in Anderson, South Carolina, Tommy spent his formative years in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. His career began with the family business, Livingston Builders, Inc., in Columbia, South Carolina, where he dedicated ten years of service. He furthered hisprofessional journey with Kitchens Management, where he worked for an additionaltwenty years. Beyond his work, Tommy found joy in playing trivia with friends at the Mouse Trap, a testament to his lively spirit.

Tommy was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Thomas Grigsby Livingston, Sr. and Shirley Carolene Thrasher Poel. He leaves behind his sister, Lynn Livingston Baker of Holly Springs, North Carolina, and brother, Stanley “Stan” Clifton Livingston (Michelle) of Irmo, South Carolina. Tommy's legacy continues through his nephews,Michael Thomas McKee (Stacia), Stanley Clifton “Clif” Livingston, Jr. (Nicole), andMatthew "Matt" Charles Livingston (Lyndsay), as well as his great-nieces, Kayla McKee, Molly McKee, Lydia Livingston, Abigail Livingston, and great-nephews, Hunter Roever,Austin Thacker, James McKee and Thomas Livingston.

Arrangements are being handled by the South Carolina Cremation Society. In accordance with his wishes, Tommy's ashes will be spread on the fifth-generation family farm in Neeses, South Carolina, a place close to his heart.

Tommy's kind spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
