Thomas "Tom" T Soja

Thomas T. Soja, 82, of Belchertown passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones.  He was a proud veteran serving in the Air Force.  He worked for Savage Arms in Westfield for 36 years before retiring, but sitting home wasn't for him so he then worked for Van Pool and Six Flags.  He enjoyed fishing and watching any sport on TV.  Tom leaves behind his loving wife, Jennie of 52 years, son John and wife, Abby, daughter, Sandy and husband Robb, his brother Matt and wife, Sharon and brother, Michael.  He also leaves three granddaughters, Kaley, Amanda and Cheyanne along with sister-in-law, Stella Swiader of Poland and many nieces and nephews also in Poland.  Visitation will be Wednesday, March 12 from 9:30-11:30 am at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home with a Funeral Mass at 12pm at St. Francis Church.  Burial will be at the MA Veterans' Memorial Cemetery at 2pm.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
