MARK H. RUBENSTEIN

February 6, 1945 ~ December 13, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mark H. Rubenstein who left this world on December 13, 2024 in Canby, Oregon with his beloved wife, Terri, by his side.  Born on February 6, 1945, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mark lived a life filled with love, laughter, and deep connections.

Mark married Terri Paden in 1976, and together they built a beautiful family.  Their three children, Andy, Joe and Emma were his pride and joy.  Over time, the entire family found their way to the Pacific Northwest, where they shared countless cherished moments – gathering often, playing games and simply enjoying each other's company.

Mark's warmth and kindness touched all who knew him.  He began his career as a pharmacist before transitioning to a long and fulfilling journey in human resources, where his care of others was evident in every interaction.  An avid tennis player in his younger years, he brought the same energy and joy to every game he played with his family and friends.

He is survived by this devoted wife, Terri, his children, Andy (Nell), Joe, and Emma (Richard), his dear sister Ellen (Dan); and his nieces, Sara (Jordan) and Erin (Ryan), along with their children Sydney, Leah, and Alice.  Mark was also blessed with many wonderful cousins, with whom he remained close throughout his life.  His warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed but forever carried in their hearts.

Mark's legacy lives on in the stories, laughter, and love he shared.  He will be thought of often and remembered always.
