Reed Baker Christenson
May 4th, 1960 - March 4th, 2025

Reed Baker Christenson passed away on March 4, 2025 at 64 years of age, in Portland, OR. He was born in Seattle, WA, and grew up in Spokane, WA.
Reed was a proud business owner and a hardworking, dedicated individual. His career began at Pike Awning Co. in 1980, where he worked for 20 years as an installer and crew leader. During that time, he recognized a need in the Portland area for awning cleaning services, leading him to establish his own business, Reed Canvas Cleaning Co. in 1984. His work ethic, integrity, and dedication to serving his community were the foundation of his professional life.
In 2011, Reed achieved a personal milestone by earning his Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. His passion for learning and growth was evident in all aspects of his life.
Beyond his career, Reed was a vibrant and generous person who loved bringing people together. He had a deep passion for music, playing the drums, learning guitar, and sharing his love of sound with those around him. He enjoyed skiing and even worked as a ski instructor at Mt. Hood early in life. A champion for his kids, he coached both softball and flag football, taking great joy in supporting thier activities. He was also a devoted dog owner who cherished his beloved pets, Rocky, Tanzy, Maggie, and Mazzie.
Reed is survived by his six siblings, Lisa Christenson, Brad Christenson, Amy Jensen, Kerri Dempsey, Kenneth Holmes, and Kirk Holmes, his three children, Tami Booth, Randy Christenson, and Stacy Christenson, as well as his six grandchildren, Dallas Massegee, William Massegee, Michael Clark, Lillian Booth, and Jocelyn Matthews, and many nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and ability to bring people together in celebration.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, with details to follow. His family invites all who knew him to come together to honor his memory in the spirit of joy and togetherness that he cherished so deeply.
