Claude Fred Edens

Claude Fred Edens, 73, of Keenesburg, Colorado, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2018 in Greeley, Colorado. Claude was born in Denver, Colorado to Fred and Marty (Marooney) Edens on December 9, 1944. On February 4, 1970 in Keenesburg, Claude married the love of his life, Faylene (Tucker) Edens. Claude was an Army Veteran. He was a retired Colorado State Trooper in Weld county for 30 years and received the Medal of Valor in 1994. As a retirement job he worked 18 years in transportation at DIA. Claude is survived by his wife; children, Anthony (Glenda) and Amy Edens; siblings, Sue (Harry) Sprague, and Kevin (Karen) Edens; and a large loving extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Timothy and Lawrence Edens. A Celebration of Life at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 17 2018 at Northern Colorado Crematory, 700 8th St, Greeley, CO 80631. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation in care of Northern Colorado Crematory.
