DF McIver passed away peacefully at his home on March 5, 2025. He was born on October 14, 1940, in Swansea, South Carolina, to Darling F. McIver and Lurene Flake.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, DF cherished spending time with his grandchildren and playing music at church. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son, Danny McIver (Becky); his daughter, Diana McIver Seagle; his son-in-law Marvin Zeigler; and his beloved grandchildren, April McIver Lutz (Jacob), Adam McIver, Aften McIver St. Clair (Sean), Rusty Seagle (Kim), Chip Seagle, Riley Gunter, and Marla Zeigler. He is also survived by his eleven cherished great-grandchildren.

DF was preceded in death by his wife, Faye McIver, and his daughter, Debbie McIver Zeigler.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 10, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Home in Lexington, South Carolina. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, at 11:00 AM in the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jim Hyatt officiating. Burial will follow at Celestial Memorial Gardens.
