John "Jack" Joseph Wunsch, 85, of Woodbury, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2025.
Legacy
He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend. He was a member of the St. Margaret's RC and Incarnation RC Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed coaching the Oak Valley Vikings football teams, traveling and reading books. Jack was an avid Phillies fan.
Family
He is the beloved husband of 64 wonderful years to Irene M Wunsch (nee Marcinek). Devoted father of Deborah Vencius, Kimberly Albaugh, Cheryl Tamasitis, John Wunsch Jr. (Kelly), and Tracey Thomas (Patrick). Treasured grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 8. Predeceased by his parents Rose Edith (nee O'Brien) and Matthew C. Wunsch and his siblings Matthew J. (Sandy) and Patricia (Robert). He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Sunday, March 16th from 12:00PM to 2:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home – Woodbury Location, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Funeral Service at 2:00PM. Interment will be private.
