In Loving Memory

Dana Leann Williams Cyr, 53, passed away peacefully the early morning of Thursday, February 20, 2025 at her home after a second battle with cancer. Dana was born March 1, 1971 in Salinas, California, where she lived most of her life. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Dava Waine Solano; father, Richard Williams; grandfather, Wayne Willis; and grandparents, Oscar and Irene Williams. 

She is survived by her fiancé, Alvin Garcia; her son, Justin Martin; her father, Robert J. Solano; along with her sisters, Monica (Rick) Johnson of South Carolina, Chrissy Solano, J. (Mark) Williams, all of California. Her brothers, Nathan (Sarah) Williams, Jared (Kristen) Williams, all of Kansas. Her uncles, Toby (Harriet) Willis and Ted (Debbie) Willis, all of California. And her grandmother, Shirley Willis of California. She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends who loved her so very much. 

Dana was never without a cheerful smile and hug for everyone she encountered. She lived for her son, Justin, and was very proud of him. She was an avid Raider fan and loved motorcycle rides with the love of her life, Alvin Garcia. Dana especially loved the holidays and getting together often with family and friends. Her laugh brought smiles to all who knew her. She was a beautiful spirit, kind and loving. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, precious Dana, we will remember you always. 

A celebration of Dana's life will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 2:00pm at the American Legion, 14 W. Laurel Drive, Salinas, CA.
