Calvin Quick

 On Tuesday, March 4 , 2025 Calvin Quick silently slipped away, at home, after a long illness. He was born on December 17,1946 to the late Sylvester and Carrie Quick in Bennettsville, SC. He was one of eleven children.

He moved to High Point NC, where he attended Central High School.  He later married Patricia Anderson, and they moved to Lakeland Florida.

Calvin, worked in construction and landscaping. He loved fishing, riding his bike and spending time with family and friends.  He also like to cook and talked often of the dishes he made.

In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his wife; Patricia Anderson Quick, one son; (Tee) Allen, five Brothers; Thomas Quick, Jessie B. Quick, Sylvester Quick, Cleveland Quick and Claude B. Quick, all of High Point NC, two sister, Alice Quick Moore of Bennettsville, SC. and Carrie Mae Graham High Point   NC.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter; Mary Ann Rogers Clarke,  two sons; Tony Mcmanus ( Lori ) and Deatrick McCall all of High Point NC and many step - children, three  grandsons ; Collin McManus ( Ericka Spruill ) Tyler McManus and Antione Dwight Rogers, one great - grand; Pharrah' Mae Renee Mcmanus  one sister; Bessie Lee Quick Medley of High Point  NC, two Brothers;  Alber Oliver Quick ( Virginia ) Greensboro NC, Everette E. Quick   ( Josephine) and sister-in-law; Nadine Quick , all  of High  Point  NC,  and a  host  of  nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
