In Loving Memory of Mario N. Diamse November 20, 1946 – January 4, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Mario N. Diamse, who left us on January 4, 2025. He was born on November 20, 1946, and lived a life full of passion, curiosity, and love for his family.
Mario was a dreamer and would have loved to travel more. He embraced life’s adventures with enthusiasm. A man of many passions, he found happiness in fishing, cooking, gardening, fixing anything he could get his hands on, and always learning something new. His ingenuity was unmatched—whether it was finding creative solutions to fix something, trying out a new recipe, or picking up the guitar later in life, he never stopped thinking, creating, and exploring new possibilities.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Eleanor O. Diamse, and his five daughters: Mary Rose Ready, Maricar Diamse, Marion Nilges, Eleanor Diamse, and Cindy Diamse. He was a proud, loving, and giving grandfather to Emily Nilges, Abigail Nilges, Alec Nilges, Ethan Nilges, Anna Nilges, Ella Nilges, Ava Nilges, Mikai Kalb, Milan Kalb, Maxwell Ready, and Edison Ready who brought him endless joy.
Mario also leaves behind Lucky, his beloved dog, who brought him so much happiness and whom he cared for dearly. Lucky was not just a pet but a cherished companion who shared Mario’s love for life and adventure.
As a father, grandfather, and husband, Mario’s presence filled our lives with much wisdom, curiosity, and laughter. His kindness, dedication, and guidance will be deeply missed but never forgotten. We take comfort in knowing his legacy lives on in the lessons he taught, the memories he created, and the love he shared with us all.
Rest in peace, Daddy! We miss you!
