Donald F. Halsema Sr. died peacefully, at the age of 93, on Thursday, March 6, 2025, with his family around him.
Don was married to Clarissa for 70 years and has 3 children, 2 grandsons, and 1 great granddaughter.
He was employed as a Civil Engineer at NASA for 36 years in the Office of Design and Modification. His career spanned from the Apollo Era through the Space Shuttle Program. During his long career he received many awards and accommodations from NASA.
Don’s beautiful smile, quick wit, and kind spirit will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
