Gail “Bonnie” M. Riedell, 81, of Amsterdam, NY, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025, at Saint Mary’s Hospital with her loving family by her side. Bonnie was born on April 25, 1943, in Huntington, Long Island to the late Robert and Genevieve (Ireland) Milliken. She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Riedell and her brother Robert Milliken Jr.  Bonnie is survived by her son Robert Riedell and daughter Allison Elliott, grandson Dylan Riedell (Kaycee), granddaughter Paige Rivera (Nadia), great grandchildren Dean, Isael, Jane, Isabella, and Catherine Anne. She also adored her cats, grand cats and grand dogs. Her hobbies included church, volunteering, gardening, knitting, antiquing, reading and walks on the beach. 

 

Gail’s arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010. A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church, 37 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Montgomery County SPCA, Amsterdam Free Library or Saint Mary’s Hospital c/o Volunteers.
