Memorial

Benjamin Vila-Molzon,  lived a rich and textured life, characterized by moments of joy and laughter, until his unexpected passing on March 9, 2025, in Atlanta, GA. Friends and family will gather to celebrate Ben's life at a memorial service, which will be held in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Although he's left this world all too soon, Ben's giving spirit will continue to inspire those he touched.

Born June 14, 1994, in Newark, NJ, Ben's journey, although too short, was filled with laughter, loyalty, and the kind of unwavering camaraderie that brought warmth to every garage and fishing spot he loved so dearly. A graduate of Northside High School, Ben followed his passion for automobiles, earning a vocational certificate in Auto Mechanics. Though his career ultimately took him to Smoke's Bar and Grill as a well-loved bartender, it was under the hood of a car where he truly felt at home.

When not perfecting his craft or mixing drinks with unparalleled flair and kindness, Ben could be found spending time with those he loved most and being the best brother and uncle, he knew how to be. Ben was dependable and loving, he was known as the person that would show up when someone was in need. His loyalty and considerate nature made him a beloved friend to many, with a personality that was as honest as it was straightforward.

Ben is survived by a tapestry of family – his twin brother, Bradley Vila-Molzon, Vanessa Vila-Molzon, Manuel Alvarez (Lindsay),  Olivia Alvarez (Jerod), Jessica Alvarez (Frank), Alicia Alvarez (John), and Julian Vila (Megan), Alexia Alzugaray. His legacy also lives on through his many of nieces and nephews, including Abigail, Carly, Michael, Emily, Manuel Jr., Audrina, Hayley, Isabella, Julian Jr., Lily, Kiara, Harvey and Gracelyn, who cherished Uncle Ben's laughter and love. In addition to family, Ben leaves behind a large friend group. Friends were a large part of his life, to him, they were not friends, but a brotherhood that brought him a world of joy.

Ben was preceded in death by his loving mother Carol Ann Molzon, who now holds him in her arms again.

Friends are encouraged to reflect on Ben's life by helping a neighbor or offering a kind word to someone in need—acts that truly embody the gentleman we all grew to know and love. Rest easy, Ben. You will be missed beyond words.
