Ruben "Nesto" Ernesto Ayala
June 2nd, 1957 - October 28th, 2024
Ruben “Nesto” Ayala passed away on October 28th at his house in Albuquerque, NM. A resident of NM since 2006, Ruben was born in CA on June 2nd 1957 to Ruben Ayala and Francis Alcala. After many years residing in CA, Ruben migrated to Albuquerque, NM to be closer with his daughter. Ruben was a dedicated worker, father and grandfather. His contagious smile and laughter never failed to light up a room. His dedication to helping others in a time of need brought a sense of peace within his community. An avid pool player, who loved the beach and his family.
Ruben is proceeded in death by his father Ruben and sister Corina and is survived by his mother Francis Alcala, his brother and sisters Steven and Roslie Acosta, Sonia Alcala, Magdalena Smith, his daughter Sarah Ayala and grandsons Josiah Mora and Julian Araiza. A memorial service will be held in his honor on March 14th at Riverside Funeral home in Los Lunas, NM.
