November 26th, 1959 - February 22nd, 2025
His faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of his life.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Talbot on February 22, 2025, at the age of 65. Jeff was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, and his presence will be deeply missed.
Born in Okinawa, Japan, and raised in Wheaton, Illinois, Jeff moved out West with his friend Ken to attend college. Jeff led a life full of love, faith, and service. He graduated with a BA in Finance from Seattle Pacific University. While there, he met lifelong friends including his best friend Ron, and most importantly, his soulmate Alison. They shared 40 wonderful years of marriage, raising two sons, Kyle and Nathan. Jeff adored his family. He was a constant presence in their lives, supporting them through every stage. He cherished time spent with them, their friends, and his granddaughter Jordan, who brought him immense joy.
Jeff enjoyed a fulfilling 37-year career with his Allstate agency, where he built lasting relationships with his customers and his wonderful team of Kathleen and Brenda. A passionate traveler, Jeff loved exploring new places and spending time with those he cared about. He was also a dedicated car enthusiast, spending much of his spare time reading about cars, as well as fixing and enhancing the cars he owned. His faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of his life. Demonstrating love through acts of service, from helping friends and family, donating a kidney to his cousin Kate, volunteering with Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission, and other charitable organizations.
He is survived by his wife, Alison; sons, Kyle, his wife Michelle, and Nathan; granddaughter, Jordan; his siblings, Elizabeth (Steve) and Peter (Marcia); in-laws Ron and Linda; sister in-law Marsha (Kevin); nieces Lauren (Bjorn & Solveig), Erin (Evan), Hailey, Rebecca (Mike), and Sarah (Amaya & Armaan); nephews Brendan (Laura), Michael, Caleb, and Isaac. He was preceded in death by his parents, Karen “Kay” and Albert “Pat” Talbot.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on March 20, 2025, at 1:00 pm at University Presbyterian Church in Seattle, WA. A reception will follow to share memories and stories.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission, a local food bank, or a charity of your choice.
While we mourn his loss, we find peace in the knowledge that Jeff is rejoicing in heaven with his Savior.
