Dixie Ann Morgan

Dixie Ann Morgan, of Caldwell, passed away on March 11, 2025 in Caldwell, Idaho at the age of 66. Dixie was born in Nampa, Idaho on December 24, 1958 to Victor T. and Mary E. Brewer.
Dixie spent her early years growing up in Nampa, Lewiston and Caldwell, Idaho. She graduated from Caldwell High School in 1977. She later married Byron Dean Morgan on November 30, 1985 and lived in Nampa.
They later moved to Twin Falls, Idaho where Dixie developed a love and passion for working with children. She flourished in her role as the children’s pastor for the Twin Falls Church of the Nazarene.
Dixie and Byron moved back to the Caldwell area where she continued her work as a children’s pastor at Karcher Church of the Nazarene. She later spent fourteen years working at Greenleaf Friends Academy where she served in many roles mentoring and teaching youth.
Dixie was an adoring mother and grandmother who treasured time with her family and community. She loved travelling and adventured all over the world. Dixie spent numerous summers at the Pacific coast spotting jellyfish and sand dollars on the beach. She raised many pets in her life and cherished each one.
Dixie is preceded in death by her mother Mary E. Brewer, sister Vickie Wolf and her father Victor T. Brewer. She is survived by her husband Byron Morgan; sons Colby (Darby) Morgan of Boise and Brandon (Michelle) Morgan of Caldwell; granddaughter Cecelya Morgan; sister Debra (Marty) Koch of Caldwell and brother Steve (Lisa) Brewer of Caldwell.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Lake Lowell Animal Rescue, Hands of Hope, or Greenleaf Friends Academy in Dixie’s name would be appreciated.
A viewing for friends and family will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 12:30 to 1:30 with funeral services beginning at 1:30 at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery [19463 Pride Lane Caldwell, ID 83607].
