Judith Ann Hudspeth
July 8th, 1944 - March 8th, 2025
Judith Ann Hudspeth, fondly known as Judy, peacefully passed away March 8, 2025, at the age of 80. She was born on July 8, 1944, in Seymour, Texas, and later made her home in Arvada, Colorado, where she was surrounded by the love and warmth of family.
In 1964, Judy married the love of her life, David Hudspeth. They shared an inspiring journey together filled with love and loyalty, until his passing after 41 wonderful years of marriage. Judy began her family at a young age.
Judy had a diverse career, working in many fields, but she was perhaps best known for driving with RTD for nearly a decade.
She was passionate about the outdoors: fishing, camping, boating or sharing moments with family.
She was known for her strong convictions and unwavering commitment to her beliefs. She also possessed a humorous side, consistently bringing laughter and smiles to those around her.
Judy made a profound impact in her community through her dedicated service at local churches, volunteer work at second-hand stores, and commitment to ensuring the democratic process by volunteering at the county voting polls during election years.
Her heart was filled with delight as she played bingo, crafted with groups, grew with Bible study groups and enjoyed foreign soap operas.
Judy’s unconditional love for her family and fur babies was a testament to her kind heart. Judy’s faith in God was inspiring, and she played a significant role in shaping the next generation, including her grandchildren, by demonstrating her faith and love for God.
Judy is survived by her sister Sue Armstrong of Fort Worth; 5 children: Pam Hill Doyle of Fort Worth, Debbie Hill McLean of Fort Worth and Husband Bill, Patricia Hudspeth of Arvada, David Hudspeth Jr. of Arvada and Wife Charla, Angela Hudspeth Stanton of Arvada and Husband Patric; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 niece; 3 nephews
