Kathleen Jean Abbott, 94, went home to be with her Savior on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. She lived a life filled with love, grace, and an unwavering devotion to her family and community. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Burial will follow immediately follow the service at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Rev. Paul Cowles will officiate.

 

Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and her compassion extended far beyond her family. Kathleen was a dedicated volunteer with Heart of Georgia Hospice in Warner Robins, for many years. Kathleen’s life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all whose lives she touched.

 

Kathleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Harry Paul Abbott, as well as her son, Philip, and her daughter, Heather. She is survived by her daughters, Sherri, Carmen, Brenda, Beverly (Russell), Nancy (Allen), and daughter-in-law Patty. Kathleen’s legacy lives on through her twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren, and fourteen great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were a constant source of joy and pride in her life.

 

In honor of her spirit of giving, memorial contributions may be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
