Elizabeth Siegel
April 24th, 1930 - March 11th, 2025
My beloved mother Elizabeth Siegel died on March 11, 2025 after a short illness. Born in New Jersey, she was just shy of her 95th birthday on April 24.
She raised two children, my brother Anthony, who preceded her in death, and I.
She was married for many years to her love Bob who proceeded her in death. They moved to Tucson from Long Island in 1986. They were very active in the Tucson Saddle Club, the Saguaro Horseman's Association, and the annual Desert Caballero ride in Wickenburg. When Bob rode with the guys, she made sure that she and the ladies did the power shopping. They had many horses over the years that they enjoyed riding in the Saguaro National Park, as well as many other animals on the far east side of Tucson. A girl from New York became an Arizona cowgirl!
They did extensive travel to Australia, Europe, and Mexico. After Bob’s passing she became involved with Corpus Christi Church and Welcome Wagon.
She was a wonderful grandmother, great grandmother and aunt to her family and extended family.
Mom was known for her smile and nurturing demeanor. She was always generous of spirit, time, and gifts. Liz was the heart and soul of our home and family and will be dearly missed. We took many trips together that I will always cherish. She was my Mom and my best friend.
