Delia Soto de Verdugo, de 76 años, residente de Deming, falleció el miércoles 5 de marzo de 2025 en su residencia con su familia a su lado.
El velorio se llevará a cabo el jueves 13 de marzo de 2025 a las 11 de la mañana en la Funeraria Baca’s con un servicio a la 1 de la tarde dirigido por el pastor Obed Rivera. Delia será enterrada a un lado de su esposo en el cementerio Linn Grove en Greeley, CO.
Delia nació el 13 de marzo de 1948 en el Ejido Emilio Carranza, Chihuahua, hija de María Castillo y Antonio Soto. A Delia le encantaba cocinar, ir de campamento y viajar, pero lo que más disfrutaba era pasar tiempo con su familia.
Le sobreviven sus hijos; Adrián Chavarría, José Alfredo (Judith) Verdugo Soto, Cesar Omar Verdugo Soto, Edgar (Vanessa) Verdugo Soto, Alma Delia Verdugo Soto, Mony Verdugo Soto (Felipe Soto) y Araceli (Daniel) Ontiveros, 25 nietos y muchos bisnietos.
Le preceden en la muerte sus padres, su esposo Ramón Verdugo y hermanos; Soledad, Manuela, Eva, Remedios and Guadalupe Soto.
Delia Soto de Verdugo, 76, Deming resident passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at her residence with her family by her side.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 11 o’clock in the morning at Baca’s Funeral Chapels with a funeral service to follow at 1 o’clock in the afternoon led by Pastor Obed Rivera. A second visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 5:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. at Adamson Life Celebration Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am, Friday, March 21, 2025 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Delia will be placed to rest by her husband at Linn Grove Cemetery in Greeley, CO.
Delia was born on March 13, 1948 at Ejido Emilio Carranza, Chihuahua to Maria Castillo and Antonio Soto. Delia loved to cook, go camping, and travel but what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children; Adrian Chavarria, Jose Alfredo (Judith) Verdugo Soto, Cesar Omar Verdugo Soto, Edgar (Vanessa) Verdugo Soto, Alma Delia Verdugo Soto, Mony Verdugo Soto (Felipe Soto) and Araceli (Daniel) Ontiveros, 25 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ramon Verdugo and siblings; Soledad, Manuela, Eva, Remedios and Guadalupe Soto.
