Oscar Arrieta, aged 71, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025, in Warner Robins, Georgia. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory. A funeral service will be held the following day, Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM, officiated by Father Carlos Rivero.
Born on May 24, 1953, in New York, New York, Oscar's life was dedicated to his family and the multitude of lives he touched through his unwavering kindness and considerate nature. Oscar was a man whose greatest achievements lay in the love he gave and received. A devoted family man, he spent his life nurturing the bonds with his cherished wife, Violeta Arrieta, and their children, Oscar Jr. and Jennifer. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Aaron, Katarina, and Nikolai, whose laughter and joy were a constant source of pride for him.
Professionally, Oscar worked in building maintenance, where his meticulous attention to detail and dedication to his craft left a lasting impression on those around him. Though he preferred not to boast of his accomplishments, those close to him knew of his quiet diligence and tireless work ethic. Oscar's gentle nature and warm smile could light up any room, and he was always ready with a kind word or helping hand for anyone in need. He believed in the power of compassion, a value instilled in him by his beloved parents, Juan Arrieta and Juanita Aviles, who preceded him in death.
In celebrating Oscar's life, let us remember the simple joys he cherished: moments of laughter with loved ones, the warmth of a family gathering, and the love that binds us all. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known him.
