Linda Ann Savold

Linda Riedesel Savold. 83, of Melbourne, FL passed away on March 12, 2025 in Melbourne. Funeral services will be held at 10am on April 5, 2025 at Ascension Lutheran Church in Indian Harbour Beach, Fl with Pastor Rob Cosmas officiating.

Linda was born in Fargo, ND to Jackson and Ruth Riedesel on September 1, 1941. She went to school in Fargo. She married Wayne Savold on May 4, 1962 in Fargo. She graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1959. She attended North Dakota State University. She was mostly a stay-at- home mom but spent several years working in retail. She was heavily involved in Ascension Lutheran Church and Volunteered in in the school systems in Marion, IA, Satellite Beach, FL and in Orlando, FL. She was awarded Volunteer of the Year in Orlando in 2004.

Linda is preceded in death by her father Jackson Riedesel and her mother Ruth Riedesel.

Linda is survived by her husband Wayne Savold; daughter Susan Hathaway and son Scott Savold; sisters Jacki Hammonds and Cynthia Rausch (Tom) and brother Edward Riedesel; and by her Grandchildren Bryan Hathaway and Brent Hathaway.

Memorials may be given to Ascension Lutheran Church and Vitas Hospice.
