Robert Aaron Victor Martinez

In a life lived so full, Robert Aaron Victor Martinez passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family, on Sunday, February 16, 2025. He was born on March 23, 1942, in a small community known as La Veta, Colorado to Frank & Stella Martinez. Bob, as all his family and friends affectionately called him, was the 2nd eldest of his siblings, Viola Romero (Don), Frank Martinez (Lori) and Louis Martinez (Margie). Bob attended Alhambra high school graduating in 1960. He enlisted into the United States Navy in 1960 and served until 1964.  He attended Fullerton Junior College, where he graduated in 1968 and obtained an Associates in Art. Bob began his family in California & Colorado but would eventually migrate to New Mexico with his beloved wife Peggy. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, one of his most proud roles in his life. Bob worked many, many years in medical sales throughout the Colorado and New Mexico territory, building long lasting relationships throughout his career. He would retire from Pro Med after many years of service. Together with his wife Peggy, they opened an orphanage in India, which in now run & operated by a beloved friend, Solomon Prabhakaran & Clara Prabhakaran. Bob is survived by his children; John Martinez, Victoria Martinez, Robert Martinez (Angela), Joseph Martinez (Kelly Ramirez), and Meghan Martinez, grandchildren; Sabrina Martinez-Ramirez, Justin Gatan, Arianna Martinez, Madison Martinez, Layla Martinez, Ezekiel Martinez, Esias Ybarra and great-grandchildren; Aurora Martinez, Ajay Martinez, Juliet Martinez, and Jade Renfro. A heartfelt thank you to Road Runner Hospice Team for their compassionate care of Bob. A heartfelt thank you to Bob & Connie Newman, who not only were longtime friends but had become like family to Bob.
