Gerald "Jerry” Barker, 82, of Greeley, passed away on July 13, 2018 in Greeley, Colorado. He was born to Sharon and Lillye (Dodds) Barker on July 28, 1935 in Clayton, New Mexico. Jerry loved collecting antique tools and rocks. He enjoyed woodworking and singing. He was involved in choir since the 4th grade. He worked and volunteered at 1st congregational Church in Greeley. He was a "Jack of All Trade.” Jerry married Donna Jean Keith on September 14, 1957 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Jerry was survived by his wife of 61 years, Donna; children, David (Debbie) Barker, Phillip Barker and Joel Barker; grandchildren, Joshua (Enjoli) Barker, Jeremiah Barker (Alexandra), Sarah Barker, Stephen Barker, Liliana Barker-Stein (Brad), Maya Barker, Noah Barker (Katie), Taylor DeFoor, Brittani DeFoor, Cassidy DeFoor, and Kennedy DeFoor; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Russell Barker, Tommye Gayler, Betty Genereaux (Joe), Terry Barker (Aretta). Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Sharlene. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 28, 2018 at 3:00pm, at First Congregational Church, 2101 16th St, Greeley, CO 80631 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Barker Family in care of Northern Colorado Crematory.
