Dale Clinton Wolfe

Dale Clinton Wolfe, 75, of Church Hill went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 14, 2025. He was born in Kingsport to the late Scott and Ora Wolfe. Dale was a 1967 graduate of Church Hill High School and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for Eastman Chemical Company for over 30 years before transferring to BAE until his retirement in 2010. Dale enjoyed farming and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Reginald L. Wolfe.
Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Janie Wolfe; sons, Jason Wolfe and wife Chris, Jeff Wolfe, and Joe Wolfe and wife Tonya; granddaughter, Laken Wolfe; grandson, Jacob Wolfe; along with a host of friends and extended family.
The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. A funeral service will follow with Rev. Janet Sweet and Rev. Mike Webb officiating.
A military graveside will be conducted at 11am on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Honors conducted by the American Legion Hammond Post #3/265. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50am.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Waters of Kingsport for their loving care.
