George Leonard Kledzik

George Leonard Kledzik, age 95, of Cambridge Wisconsin passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025 in Madison, Wisconsin.
He was born on September 9, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to George F. and Emily (Koetke) Kledzik. George married his Steinmetz High School sweetheart Nancy (Carroll) in Chicago. George and Nancy enjoyed spending time with lifelong friends until her death in 1990. They raised six children in Des Plaines Illinois: Lee Ann (Edward) Zielinski, Cary (Laura), Carroll (Randall) Tumblin, Mary (Mark) Heynis, Diane (Michael Murphy), and Kenneth (Kelly).George proudly served in the Korean War. He had a long career with Illinois Tool Works. Throughout his life, George enjoyed playing basketball, 16 inch softball, bowling, fishing, and golfing. After retirement, he relocated from Des Plaines to Cambridge, Wisconsin. He married Marion Stock after meeting her at the Lake Ripley Country Club. George and Marion enjoyed traveling and golfing. He golfed until the age of 92.
George is survived by his children, 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, his wife, Marion, and her daughters, Stephanie Simdon, Leslie Simdon, and Naomi Blankenburg.
Services for George will be held at Nitardy Funeral Home in Cambridge, WI on Monday, March 17, 2025 with visitation from 2:00 to 4:00 PM followed by a memorial service at the funeral home at 208 North Park Street, Cambridge, WI.
