James E. Stewart, 78 was called to be with God on Friday, March 14, 2025. He was born in Harlan, Kentucky to the late Emery and Edith Howard Stewart on September 24, 1946 and was a current resident of Nicholasville. Mr. Stewart was a Regional Manager for Alladin's Castle Entertainment and was a proud veteran of the United States Airforce.  

 

He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, James Stewart, Jr., Nicholasville and Shaun (Susie) Stewart, Lexington; grandchildren, Zach (Ariel), Christian, Summer (Jake) Robinson, Logan, Jaxon, Weston and Reid and his brothers, Howard (Shelia) Stewart, Lexington, Jerry (Ranji) Stewart and Gary (Karen) Stewart, both of Harlan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Jean Risner Stewart; his son, Tony Stewart; and his siblings, Mildred Morris, Gayle Tucker, Douglas Stewart, Dallas Stewart, Don Stewart, Darryle Stewart, Arliss Stewart and Allen Stewart. 

 

Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Serving as casket bearers will be Shaun Stewart, James Stewart, Zach Stewart, Christian Stewart, Logan Stewart. Visitation will be from 11am until 1pm on Tuesday. www.clarklegacycenter.com
