August 20th, 1967 - March 12th, 2025
Robert J. Zeder Jr. (R.J.), age 57, U.S. Army Veteran, Director of Transportation for the City of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on March 12, 2025 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Beloved husband of Danielle (nee Belanger) for 27 years; loving father of Bobby and Jack; dear brother of Lynn, Stephanie (Joe) Battaglia, Roy, and Sarah (Joe) Briley; devoted son of the late Robert and late Kathleen; cherished son-in-law of the late Daniel and the late Betty Belanger; fond uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 18, 2025, 10:00 am at Boulder Mountain Church, 9390 East McLellan Road, Mesa, Arizona. Private Burial to take place at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at a later date. A Celebration of Life will be planned in Chicago within the next couple of months, date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence at acesdv.org would be appreciated.
