Mark Douglas Peabody, born December 8, 1965, in Somerville, New Jersey, was the son of Theresa Ester Dick and Willard Henry Peabody. A proud graduate of North Plainfield High School in 1984, Mark went on to study Auto Body at Somerset County Vo Tech, setting the foundation for a life built on hard work and dedication. 

In April 1992, Mark married Nancy Albertson, and together they welcomed two daughters, Marisa in December 1992 and Grace in January 1997. While Mark and Nancy divorced in 2009, they remained good friends, united in their love for their daughters.

Throughout his life, Mark was a man of strength, humor, and deep faith. He worked tirelessly in various roles, with companies like Terminix, G&K, and Harsco Rail, always giving his best. At the time of his passing, Mark was employed with The Marwin Company. His faith was his cornerstone, guiding him through life’s challenges and triumphs. 

Mark cherished the simple pleasures in life—spending peaceful mornings fishing at Lake Murray, searching for treasures at flea markets and yard sales, driving around admiring lake houses, and listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd or watching his beloved Raiders play football. Mark’s greatest joy was his family. He loved his daughters more than anything in this world and was immensely proud of them. 

He is survived by his daughters; younger brother, Michael; older sisters, Sharon and Joyce; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who will remember his warmth, generosity, and laughter.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Theresa and Willard; his older brother, Bill; and both sets of grandparents. His legacy of love, faith, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

As we say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing that he is at peace, embraced by God's love. In the words of his favorite Bible verse, John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." May this promise bring us all peace, as we hold onto the hope of eternal life and the love that never ends.
