Palmer- Joseph "Skip" Francis Kerigan, Jr., 74, passed away March 10, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on August 8, 1950 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Joseph and Virginia (Dupre) Kerigan. Skip attended and graduated from New Hampton High School in New Hampshire where he built lifelong friendships with many friends.

With a passion to helping those in need, Skip worked as a construction manager for several companies, including Mass Save and Springfield Partners, focusing on economical energy efficiency.

Skip was an avid reader and history buff. He found immense joy in visiting Civil War, WWI, and WWII museums.

Besides his parents, Skip was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Rugg, and his nephews, Blaine and Payton Rugg.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 45 years, Nancy R. (Flemming) Kerigan, and their two sons, Sean and Ryan Kerigan. He also leaves his nieces and nephews, Cory Rugg and wife Rose, Marna Givans and husband Greg, Meghan Bedell and her husband Al, and Brendon Kerigan and wife Kristina, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Services are being held privately and at the convenience of Skip's family. For those wishing, donations in Skip's memory can be made to a cancer organization of your choice.
