Martin Oren Bonham
December 2nd, 1943 - March 6th, 2025
Martin Bonham was reunited with his wife on March 6, 2025, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Born on December 2, 1943, to Ora and Johana Bonham in Pekin, Illinois, he graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1965 and served in the Air National Guard from 1965 to 1968. He worked as a national account coordinator for Gallagher Bassett until retiring in June 2008.
In 1972, he met the love of his life, Maria Bonham, and they married on April 30, 1973. They had two children, Natalie (Bonham) Routh and Martin Bonham. He enjoyed spending time with his family, walking, visiting art museums, traveling, listening to music, discussing politics, and attending Seattle Seahawks games.
Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Ora and Johana Bonham; his brother, Matt Bonham; and his wife, Maria Bonham. He is survived by his daughter, Natalie (Douglas) Routh; his son, Martin (Tricia) Bonham; and his grandchildren, Alexandria and Tristan Knolles, and Isabella and Alyssa Bonham.
He will be deeply missed.
