Linda Lou Tjaden passed away Sunday night on March 2nd, 2025 at the Denver Hospice. Linda was born in Fort Collins, Colorado on July 22nd, 1944. She was the youngest out of seven, and she was very special to all of her siblings, as she was everyone's baby sister. Growing up Linda was a tough little farm girl; she plowed the fields, she rode horses, and though she loved all animals, it was clear to see horses and dogs were always her best friends. Family was always the most important thing to Linda, which she carried throughout her life. Linda also owned a trucking company with her husband for 10 years. The outdoors was her happy place without a doubt. She never was a gambler, though she loved her slot machines and with her luck who could blame her! Linda was not just the most feisty one, but also the most caring one at the same time. She would always say, “Walk like you mean it.” She always loved in a way you knew she really meant it. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her siblings, Clara Smith, and Gary Shockley. Her children, David Harrison and Annette Harrison. Her step children, Jeff Tjaden, Brett Tjaden and Jen Tjaden. Her grandchildren, Adam(Colleen) Harrison, Danielle(Mike) Arellanes, Aubrey(Jillian) Schlemer, Breanna Tjaden, Megan Tjaden, and Jared Tjaden. Her great grandchildren, Tracy Bramwell, Nevaeh Schlemer, Victoria Smith, Solace Arellanes, Collins Harrison, and Isabella Tjaden.

Linda was preceded into death by her husband of 25 years, LV Tjaden. Her parents, Joseph and Dorthy Shockley. Her siblings, Margret Jensen, Robert Shockley, Clark Shockley and Joe Shockley. As well as her step son, Corey Tjaden.

Services will be held at Viegut Funeral Home in Loveland, Colorado at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 28th, 2025.
