Flahiff Funeral Chapels & Crematory-Caldwell
Enrique Campos, Jr.
August 28th, 1949 - March 15th, 2025
Enrique “Henry” Campos, Jr., 75, passed away on March 15, 2025, at his home in Caldwell, Idaho, surrounded by his family. Henry was born on August 28, 1949, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila to Enrique Campos, Sr. and Olivia Campos. Through many moves with his family in his younger years, Henry found himself in Idaho in his teenage years where he began working at Crookham Company in Caldwell, Idaho. In May of 1969, he chose to leave his job at Crookham’s to enlist in the United States Army, knowing he would someday return to the company after his time in the service. He was inducted into the infantry unit of the United States Army on October 9, 1969, where he was later promoted to Sergeant on May 10, 1971, and served in Vietnam from March 28, 1971, to July 9, 1971. Henry proudly served the United States until October 8, 1975, when he chose to discharge and return to Idaho. He then returned to work at Crookham Company where he later became President of the company before retirement in February of 2015.
On January 29, 1986, he married the love of his life, Patsy Stacy, and they recently celebrated 39 years of marriage. Throughout their marriage, they enjoyed many trips across the world together, both for business and leisure. Although he loved traveling anywhere with Patsy, his favorite place remained the same and that was the Big Island, Hawaii, where he absolutely loved to watch the volcanoes. Aside from traveling he loved to snorkel, watch sports, attend estate and yard sales, watch and attend NASCAR races, deep sea fish, spend Saturday afternoons at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, spend summer days in his pool and tending to his yard, and spend time attending sporting events and other activities his grandchildren were involved in.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Enrique Campos Sr. and Olivia. He is survived by his siblings: Minerva Jimenez, Rosa (*Ernesto) Ozuna, Norma (Jose) Ozuna, Iris (Lupe) Chavez, Arthur (Judy) Campos, and Maria del Socorro (Ernesto) Bermudez; his four children: Bobbi (Mitch) Bicandi, Yvette (Cris) Longoria, Dora Campos, and Enrique (Laura) Campos III; eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, 624 Cleveland Blvd. in Caldwell, Idaho, followed by a service at Canyon Hill Cemetery.
Patsy and the rest of Henry’s family would like to thank everyone for the love and support they have received during this difficult time.
