Concetta "Connie" Pagura

Concetta (Connie) Pagura, 92 of Pine Grove, Died on Mon., March3, 2025. She was born on Feb 18, 1933, in San Francisco to John & Lena Schembari. Connie married Cesare Pagura on Oct 24, 1953. They were married 50 years before his death in 2004. She was a banker for over 40 years and loved telling stories of her years at Wells Fargo. She had many active years in her community and was proud of her American/Italian heritage, enjoying membership to Sons of Italy (Wm Paca Lodge), YLI & Native Daughters of the Golden West. She also enjoyed monthly poker games with the girls.

Connie is survived by her daughters & son in-laws, Alba & Gary Arosio of Jackson, Mariann & Charlie Sliver of Galt, grandsons Nathan Sliver of Pine Grove, Zachary (Brittany) Sliver and great grandchildren, Sammy, Bentley & Hayden all of Janesville, brother Larry (Sandy) Schembari of San Francisco. She was preceded in death by brother Joe Schembari of Oregon.

The Viewing and Rosary to be held at Daneri Mortuary in Jackson Wed 3/26 12-3:30pm. Rosary will begin at 1pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thurs 3/27 at 1pm at St Patrick’s Church in Jackson, interment to follow at Sunset View Cemetery in Martell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the American Heart Assoc. or Tri County Wildlife Care.
