Marie was a long-time employee of Underwood Memorial Hospital and a long-time member of The Presbyterian Church at Woodbury, where she gained many friendships.
PASSIONS:
Marie enjoyed hosting bus trips to Radio City Music Hall, the Casinos, and various other places. She enjoyed summers by the pool with her friends and family, participating in 4-H Horse Shows with her daughter Hope. Shopping, scratching off lottery tickets, gardening, and keeping her home, nails, and hair pristine. Most of all, Marie loved watching her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys, and their buns. Marie was a “tough cookie”; we often “heard her saying, you a PIA and Vavavoom”. Even so, her house was always open for a hot meal, somewhere to sleep, a person to talk to, and many others calling it home. Which led Marie to be very loved and respected.
