Mementos

Terri Lee Rowan Bergin, 54, of West Deptford, NJ peacefully passed early Saturday, March 15, 2025 at home surrounded by her family. Terri embraced life to the fullest, and her lasting impact on family, friends, colleagues, and students will be felt for decades to come. As a teacher, mother, wife, and friend, Terri was selfless in her attempts to be a patient listener, a rational advisor, and a staunch supporter of passions and dreams. Terri never did anything halfheartedly; whether it was assisting with her children's involvement in different marching bands or cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, she was always there.

Terri was born in 1970 in Camden, NJ, to Edward, Sr. and Joan Bennett Rowan. Terri is survived by her two beloved children, Jillian and Andrew Bergin; her husband, Joseph Bergin; brothers, Edward, Jr. and John Rowan, Sr.; niece Erin Rowan Leonard and her children, Jack, Hugh, and Ella; nephew John Rowan, Jr. and his children Johnny and Ruby; nephew Kevin Rowan and his daughter Ruby; and nephew Christian Rowan.

While Terri is no longer with us in person, she is with us in spirit. Everyone who was lucky enough to be touched by her carries a piece of her undying love, empathy, and knowledge within them.

McGuinness Funeral Homes - Woodbury

We have served the Woodbury community since 1951, when our founder, James A. McGuinness, opened our first funeral home. He knew the importance of families having a trustworthy, local funeral home to help them memorialize their lost loved ones and navigate grief. Our beautiful funeral home in Woodbury was originally built in the late 1700s, and has since been rebuilt to honor its original charm and comfortable, warm feel. Once you walk through our doors, you become family....
