Anna "Anney" Isabel Pumo
July 19th, 1966 - March 15th, 2025
Anna Isabel "Anney" Pumo, 58, of Lone Tree, Colorado, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
Anney was born on July 19, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois, to Jan Lebon and Isabel Prat Lebon. She grew up in Illinois alongside her siblings, Jon and Alicia (Ali) Lebon, and formed lifelong friendships, including Barb and Julie, whom she met in middle school. She attended St. Edward’s Catholic High School before earning a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Southern Illinois University and later a Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Colorado.
On May 4, 1990, Anney married Joseph Pumo in Elgin, Illinois. In 1998, they moved to Colorado with their two children and welcomed a third in 2001. She dedicated 15 years of her career as a registered nurse at Kaiser Permanente in the Minor Procedures Department in Lone Tree and was soon to be recognized for her years of dedicated service.
Anney had a gift for building communities and fostering deep friendships. Whether through the Monroe Family swim meets and vacations, neighborhood gatherings in Tallyn’s Reach, or adventures with her fellow nurses, she brought people together. She was passionate about paddle boarding, camping, skiing, yoga, and Orangetheory Fitness. She encouraged the same values in her children from a young age so they could enjoy their community.
She also found joy in international travel and learning Spanish to connect with her family in Spain. Her generosity extended beyond her personal circles through her volunteer work with the South Metro Medical Loan Closet and as a nursing coach.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; their children, Ian Pumo (Alana Rose Smith), Lukas Pumo (Angela Zenteno), and Gabrielle Pumo (fiancé Ethan Sloan); her mother, Isabel Prat Lebon; her siblings, Jon (Jo Ann Kalua) and Ali Lebon; and many extended family members in Illinois and Spain. She was predeceased by her father, Jan Lebon.
A viewing for close family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Ponderosa Valley Funeral Services in Parker, Colorado. Casual attire is requested. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be planned for a later date.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered support during this time.
