Kane Wickham
October 26th, 1962 - March 19th, 2025
Kane Doran Wickham, 62, went to his eternal home at 5am March 19, 2025 at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas Nevada.
Kane was born in Des Moines Iowa on October 26, 1962 at the peak of the Cuban Missle Crisis. He was born to James Harris Wickham and Mary Phyllis Corona (nee Tillotson).
Kane graduated from Lamoni High School in 1981. After high school Kane moved to Des Moines where he attended Des Moines Area Community College for two years, after which he was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. During this time he was involved in the local music scene as a drummer and singer. He "caught the entertainment bug" and moved to Hollywood California to try his hand in the film industry, and became a member of the Screen Actors Guild.
Following minor success in films, Kane turned to the hospitality industry and enjoyed managing live-music bars and booking bands in Hollywood. These were some of his happiest years.
After beating cancer in the early 2000s, Kane followed another passion, photography, and moved to Kern County California to become a reporter/photographer for the Mojave Desert News. He later relocated to Bullhead City Arizona and joined the Mohave Valley Daily News.
Kane was preceeded in death by his father James Harris Wickham, stepfather Joseph Corona, and his maternal and paternal grandmothers and grandfathers.
Kane is survived by his mother, Mary Corona, stepmother, Susan Wickham, stepfather Vince Snethen (Lucretia Abbott), sister Shan (Alan Maniscalco), brothers Mark (Debbie) and Grant (Nancy), stepsister Nicole Corona, three nieces, Sage Maniscalco-Wickham, Angela Henderson (Jeremy) and Ashley Wickham (Jon Bordelon), Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews (Angela) Marvin, Abigail-Sue, Lukah, and Eric Henderson, (Ashley) Iris and Stella Comer, Odin and Charlotte Bordelon, and Great Great Niece (Abigail-Sue) Calista Henderson.
Kane was loved very much and will be missed daily. Services and internment will be scheduled at a later date.
