Judith Ann (Trieloff) DeForest, 79, of Cambridge, passed away at home on Monday, March 17, 2025, surrounded by her husband of 59 years, Tom and daughters Heidi and Lori.

She was the daughter of Carl and Bethel Trieloff and is survived by her brother Donn (Kristie) Trieloff, Larry (Deb) Trieloff, sister in law Marilyn DeForest,  brother in law Jerry (Janet) DeForest, and many nieces and nephews.

Judy was proud to serve her community in the Cambridge EMS for 23 years.   She took great pride in making a beautiful home for her family and enjoyed spending time in her many gardens.

She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Bethel, Robert and Edith DeForest, brother in law Charles DeForest, sister in law Patricia, and niece Deborah.

Judy was an adoring wife, loving mother, and wonderful friend. While her absence leaves a bit of sadness, the world is truly a better place because she was in it.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Humane Society of Jefferson County or Agrace Hospice.

The family would like to thank Agrace Hospice for their compassionate and caring staff. With a special thank you to Judy’s nurse Melissa.

Nitardy Funeral Home is assisting the family.  There will not be a visitation or service but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
