April 12th, 1959 - March 6th, 2025
Kathryn “Kathy” Diane Jacobs Dolbow, a current resident of Lakewood CO formerly of Phoenix AZ passed away on March 6 2025 at 65 years old.
Kathy was born April 12, 1959 in Denver CO, the 2nd of 8 Children born to Ronald and Clarice Jacobs. Kathy was raised in Thornton CO where she gained her love of music, she played the flute, piccolo and guitar. After she had both her children she moved to Leadville CO then Phoenix AZ in 1980 where she lived until her return to Colorado in 2017. Kathy had a zest for life, she loved to make friends and will be missed by many.
Kathy is survived by her siblings Carol Cothran CO, John Jacobs AZ, Richard Jacobs Sr. (Collette) CO and Deborah Backus (Edward) AZ, cherished friends Teresa Gifford (Paul) CO and Marina Tennyson AZ, children David Jacobs AZ, Saundra Brooks (Edward) AZ, step-son David Dolbow AZ, grandchildren Anthony Jacobs (Cece) AZ and Austen Brooks AZ, great-grandson Elias Jacobs AZ, uncles Oliver Jacobs (Julie) CA, Charles Kolb CA, aunt Teresa Hansen-Srur ND and many cousins, nieces, nephews and grand niblings.
Kathy was preceded in death by her grandparents Josephine Zavarine Jumping Eagle Jacobs, Charles Frederick Jacobs, Olga Hansen and August A Hansen, parents Ronald Joseph Jacobs Sr. and Clarice Joan Hansen Jacobs, siblings Ronald Joseph Jacobs Jr, Mary Elizabeth Jacobs Pollack, Robert Eric Jacobs, brother-in-law Edward Backus and step-son Thomas Matthew Dolbow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Barrow Neurological Foundation @ www.supportbarrow.org/ where Kathy loved working for many years or Salvation Army @ www.salvationarmyusa.org an organization close to Kathy's heart.
Services to be arranged later this year at Resthaven Park Cemetery 6450 W Northern Ave Glendale AZ 85301.
