Jeanne Ann Carroll

Jeanne Ann (DeCurtins) Carroll, age 83 of Hugo, MN passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, whose warmth and kindness left a lasting mark on all who knew her. 

Born and raised in Ramona, SD, Jeanne Ann lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to those she cared about. She found joy in being at the cabin and gardening, reading, crafting,  and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. Her generous spirit and kind heart were evident in every aspect of her life.

 Jeanne Ann was the beloved wife of the late Jim Carroll, with whom she lovingly shared 50 wonderful years. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan and her brother, Darwin.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Lisa (Jerry) Torgerson,  Jill (Brian) Tonn and Patsy (Tim)Murray; grandchildren, Sam (Kelsie), Sydney Kennedy ( Fiancé Mark), Dana Quinn and Max; great grandchildren, Finnegan , Banks and one on the way in May; and her brother, Gary.

Her Memory will be forever cherished by her family and friends. 

Jeanne Ann's gentle heart, unwavering strength, and loving spirit will remain in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed and remembered by all who loved her. 

A Private family service will be held at a late time.
