Beloved wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend Angela Elizabeth Rode, 76, wife of Robert Rode, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, in Lexington. Born in Louisville, KY, Angela's life was filled with love and dedication to her family.

 

She leaves behind her devoted husband of 60 years, Robert, and their cherished children: daughters Janet (Jim) Eckman and Cheryl Rode; sons Bob Rode, Jr. and Kevin (Kelly) Rode. Angela's legacy continues through her adored grandchildren: Megan (Will) Lato, Shannon, Corey (Drew) LaQua, Kyle (Jessica) Rode, Taylor, Connor, and Sydney. 

 

She was also blessed with a great-grandchild, Theo, and eagerly awaited the arrival of two more great-grandchildren in 2025. Angela is also survived by her loving brother, Joe Curl and extended family members.

 

Angela was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin “Bud” and Clara Curl, her sister, Sheila Milner, and her brother, Wayne Curl.

 

Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Pax Christi Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow the services. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation prior to Mass beginning at 9:00 AM.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations to Pax Christi Catholic Church in her name are appreciated. Condolences may be shared at www.clarklegacycenter.com.
