Virginia Ann Gilson
March 15th, 1942 - March 22nd, 2025
Virginia sadley passed away March 22, 2025 after a four year battle with dementia. She was a wonderful Mom always making time to talk or just listen. Virginia was born in Somers Point, New Jersey. She later moved to Northfield, New Jersey until the early 1990's when she moved to Port Charlotte, Florida with her sweetheart. While in Northfield she worked in banking. After moving to Port Charlotte she worked at Lexington Manor Assited Living, also volunteering at a Catholic resale store and later working at Culver's Restaurant.
Virginia loved working in her gardens, long walks on the beach looking for sharks teeth, swimming in her pool and taking care of her animals.
Virginia is survived by her sweetheart Jack Reto, her sister Joan Abbott, daughter Deborah (Joseph) Roesch, son Joseph Gilson (Rosie Elentrio), granddaughter Shannon (Jason) Kelly, grandsons Tyler, Trevor, Jason and Corey Gilson and four beautiful great grandchildren. And lots of loving nieces and nephews.
Virginia is predeceased by her parents Grace and Joseph Rosa.
Virginia will laid to rest alongside of her parents at Seaside Cemetery in Marmora, New Jersey.
