Kenneth "Ken" Harold Towns
January 11th, 1942 - March 18th, 2025
Kenneth "Ken" Harold Towns, age 83, of Sun City Center, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, with his loving wife, Janet, by his side. Born on January 11, 1942, in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, Ken was the son of Harold Claude Towns and Arlene Towns. He was the beloved brother of Dana Towns Ball. Ken was married to Janet Garner Towns for 43 years. He was a proud father to three sons, Michael (wife Linda), Stephen (wife Susan), and Jeffrey (wife Camille), and the stepfather to two daughters, Christina Hamilton Costa and Sharon Hamilton Feliciano (husband Brian Feliciano). Ken's legacy lives on in his 11 grandchildren: Jennifer, Andrew, Ryan, Cooper, Bailey, Jacob, MacKenzie, Alex, Carlin, Nathan, and Cat. Ken loved the outdoors, finding great joy in hunting, fishing, and boating, and he could always be found tinkering with anything that needed fixing. Whether it was spending time with family, enjoying his hobbies, or sharing stories with those he loved, Ken lived a full life. He will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and the love he gave to all who knew him. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Arlene, and is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends. A memorial service will be held on April 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home in St. Petersburg, Florida. A luncheon will be served immediately following the ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Ken's memory. Ken will be dearly missed but forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
