Psalm 23- The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Milton Ragins, who departed this life on March 24, 2025, in Macon, Georgia. A memorial service to honor Milton’s life will be held in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Those who wish to pay their respects and express condolences to the family are invited to join us in this tribute.
Born on June 8, 1964, in Warner Robins, Georgia, Milton lived a life dedicated to the principles of hard work, family, and integrity. Milton was a skilled cabinetmaker and brick mason, trades through which he demonstrated his dedication and loyalty – qualities that defined his character and enriched the lives of all who knew him. His work was a reflection of his meticulous nature and the pride he took in his craft.
His legacy is lovingly cherished by his children: Dontavious A. Brown, Vasquez (Nadia) Brown, Chelsea (Mario) Solomon, Damion (Brittany) Terry, My'Kavion Brown, Milton Ragins, Jr., Aaron Ragins, Maleesia Ragins, Myla Ragins, and Mylez Ragins, and his grandchildren: Ty'Lasia Brown, Journi Brown, Kahlani Brown, A'Layla Solomon, Amariona Solomon, Olivia Terry, and Amira Ragins. Milton is also survived by his siblings: Brenda Brown, Natasha Brown, Lynda Byrd, Kenneth Brown, Kelvin (Daphne) Brown, Patrick Brown, Douglas M. (Tonya) Johnson, Danny Johnson, and Victoria L. Johnson, Aunts and Uncles: Melenice (Howard) Jordan, Carol (Cecil) Jordan, Voil Lee (Jeanette) Jones, Harold (Vickie) Jones, Darrell Lane, and Ernestine Burns, daughter-in-law, Marisha Moore- Williams, devoted cousin, Charles Mitchell, alongside a host of nieces and nephews who will forever hold him dear in their hearts. He is preceded in death by his son, Tyrez Moore.
Milton's love for his family was evident in every endeavor he pursued, and his enduring loyalty to those he held dear will continue to inspire and comfort his loved ones for years to come. May his memory be a blessing, as it shines through the lives of his family and friends.
