Theron WILLIAM DUDLEY
May 24th, 1936 - March 15th, 2025
Theron William Dudley was brought into this world in Park City, Utah on May 24, 1936, He had 4 brothers and sisters, Raymond, Mary Louise, Thomas, and Edith who all preceded him in death. He lived in Park City until hard times arrived for the family and he went to live on a huge ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming at the age of 12. He did ranch hand work, rounding up cattle and doing odd jobs on the ranch until the Korean War broke out and he enlisted in the Army. He was in Special Forces Division in the Army serving in Korea until discharged at Fort Lewis, WA. Where he continued serving in the Army reserves. He remained in Seattle, WA and went to work for Boeing where he worked for 30 years. While working for Boeing he attained his Mechanical Engineering Degree from U of WA. He married Joan Marie Henley in 1955. They had two children Patricia Anthony and Thomas Dudley. They were married for 25 years before going their separate ways.
Bill, the name he wanted to be called was always very helpful to others and started helping widows learn to square dance. This is where he met and helped Maureen Kallen square dance. They became best friends and eventually married in Reno, Nevada and travelled and enjoyed their lives together for 35 years. With this marriage he also gained two more children Teresa Nickel and Stephen Lemay; Stephen is now deceased. Bill is leaving behind 3 children, 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He has always been a very helpful and loving person and will be very much missed. Other accomplishments he achieved in his lifetime were riding and winning Rodeos, singing in a trio on TV and because he liked working on cars eventually owning several gas stations in Seattle area aside from working at Boeing. As you can see, he was a very busy person all his life.
