Beers and Story - Palmer
Roland Horton
February 15th, 1935 - March 19th, 2025
Monson - Roland F. Horton passed away after a short illness at the age of 90 on March 19, 2025. His wife, Frances, passed away April 2010. Roland graduated from Coletrade in Southbridge, MA. He was a truck driver for all of his working career and loved driving. He worked for Diamond National, Palmer Trucking and Sandri. Roland loved his motorcycles, bowling and the Red Sox.
He leaves behind five children, Pamela Sisco (Gordon), Matthew Horton (Lorri), Brenda Harnois (Rich), Joseph Horton (David), Susan Horton (Rich), three grandchildren, Jessie Lavalle (Eric), Jamie Eldredge Horton (Greg), Victor Janulewicz as well as one great granddaughter, Jaylize Eldredge Horton, two nephews and one niece. Roland will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
There will be no calling hours and services will be private. Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
